Refund Policy

Home / Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for Studyfound paid plans and features (“Paid Services”). By purchasing Paid Services, you agree to this Refund Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions

  1. “Subscription” means a recurring paid plan (monthly/annual or otherwise)
  2. “One-time purchase” means a non-recurring paid feature.
  3. “Digital services” means access to features, tools, or generated outputs delivered electronically.

It does not apply to third-party websites (including university sites) you may access via links on Studyfound.

2. General Rule: Non-Refundable (Digital Services)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all purchases of Paid Services are final and non-refundable, because access is delivered immediately and value is provided digitally.

3. Exceptions (When We May Refund)

We may provide a refund, at our discretion, in limited cases such as:

  1. Duplicate charge (you were charged twice for the same purchase).
  2. Service not delivered due to a technical failure on our side and we cannot reasonably fix it.
  3. Unauthorized transaction(subject to verification and investigation).
  4. Mandatory legal rights in your jurisdiction (where refunds cannot be legally excluded).

4. No Refunds in These Cases

Refunds will generally not be provided for:

  1. change of mind / no longer needing the Service
  2. not using the Service after purchase
  3. dissatisfaction with outcomes (e.g., admission decisions, scholarships, visas)
  4. mistakes made by the user (wrong plan selection, incomplete setup, incorrect inputs)
  5. AI Outputs not meeting expectations (AI can be imperfect; review is required)
  6. third-party issues (university site changes, deadline updates, policies, etc.)

5. Subscriptions: Cancellation

You can cancel your Subscription anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund fees already paid, unless required by law.

If you cancel, you may keep access until the end of your current billing cycle (unless your account is suspended for misuse).

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account while we investigate. If a dispute is resolved in our favor, you may need to pay outstanding amounts to regain access.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with:

  1. your account email
  2. transaction ID / invoice info
  3. reason for request
  4. supporting evidence (screenshots, bank proof, etc.)

We may request additional verification to prevent fraud.

6. Processing Time

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Actual timing depends on payment providers and banks.
